What are Vorwerks?
The Vorwerk is a breed of chicken originating in Germany. Though it is unrelated to the German company which produces the Vorwerk vacuum cleaner, it is the only chicken to share its name with a brand of household appliance. A rare fowl, it has distinctive black-and-gold plumage.
Our History
Our Vorwerks showed well in 2023 and 2024 with Roosters and Hens winning Champion and Firsts in their categories for multiple shows. 2024 Champion Rare Breed was won at Boonah Annual Show.
Pickup
Normally the chooks are picked up only but an animal courier such as Animal Ark is a possibility if this is mentioned. There is an additional charge for Animal Ark which is determined by their quote. Please message us if you need a courier
