What are Vorwerks?
The Vorwerk is a breed of chicken originating in Germany. Though it is unrelated to the German company which produces the Vorwerk vacuum cleaner, it is the only chicken to share its name with a brand of household appliance. A rare fowl, it has distinctive black-and-gold plumage.
Our History
Our Vorwerks showed well in 2023 and 2024 with Roosters and Hens winning Champion and Firsts in their categories for multiple shows.
Pickup Only
Chicks need a heat source therefore must be picked up.
What will the chick need?
Chicks will require a heat source. Either a brooder or a broody hen. Access to medicated chick feed and clean water.
Minimum Order
Chickens are a flock animal so we a minimum order of 2 is required
